To use Morepork you’ll need a monitoring plan. This provides you with access to the app and web portal as well as covering ongoing costs like the mobile data used by your control panel and secure storage of your data, photos and videos.

It gives you 24/7 professional monitoring and in the event of an alarm, the Professional Response Team will follow your personalised action plan to act on your behalf. If you wish they can even send a security guard out to your property (additional fee applies). Perfect if you travel or are away from your mobile phone frequently. It includes:
  • Everything in the self monitoring plan
  • 24/7 professional security monitoring
  • Personalised response plan
  • Security Guard callouts (additional fee of $78.95 per half hour on site applies)
  • Emergency services called (if needed)

Why is there a monthly fee?

A monitoring plan is what gives you peace of mind. It means Morepork is ‘always on’ and can alert you immediately if something is not right. Or you can check in that all is well. This takes a bit of work behind the scenes so your plan covers such things as mobile data used by the control panel, secure cloud storage of all data including photos and videos, a range of customised alerts including email and mobile notifications, 24 hour access to the app and web portal and our customer Support Team available 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

Why choose Professional Response?

While Self Monitoring can keep you in the know about what’s happening at home, sometimes it’s not possible to be near your phone or your unable to act on alerts if necessary. If you travel regularly, don’t always have your phone with you or would like the option of sending a security guard out to check on things (additional fee applies), Professional Response gives you that added peace of mind.

Can I change plans?

Yes. You can change plans by calling our support team on 0800 787 238. You can change plans once each monthly billing cycle – perfect if you’re going away and would like your home professionally monitored!
